Agreement
These terms govern your access to and use of TurboSend (the service, site, and related software). By using TurboSend, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What TurboSend provides
TurboSend lets you send and receive files and short messages between browsers. Content is encrypted in your browser before upload. You can share a link or pair devices with a QR code or pairing code. Quick transfers do not require an account; signing in with Google is optional and only needed to keep transfers for longer in your library.
Your responsibility for content
You are responsible for what you send, receive, store links to, and share with others. Only upload content you have the right to share and that complies with applicable law. Do not use TurboSend for malware, harassment, illegal material, or to infringe someone else's rights.
Links, keys, and access
Anyone who has a transfer link (including the secret in the URL fragment) or valid pairing credentials can access that content. Treat links and codes like passwords. We cannot recover lost keys or undo sharing once you give someone access.
Retention and deletion
- Anonymous quick links expire after 24 hours unless deleted sooner by the sender.
- Signed-in users may keep transfers for 3, 7 or 30 days as offered in the product; those transfers remain tied to your account until they expire or you delete them.
- Encrypted data is removed from storage when a transfer expires or is deleted, subject to normal backup and caching delays in underlying infrastructure.
Limits
Current limits include up to 5 GB per transfer, up to 200 files per transfer, and rate limits to protect the service. We may change limits or availability to keep TurboSend reliable and secure.
Security and encryption
TurboSend is designed so file bytes are encrypted client-side and the decryption key stays in the link fragment or on your device. No system is perfectly secure. You use the service at your own risk. We do not guarantee that transfers will be private, uninterrupted, or free of errors.
Accounts and sign-in
If you sign in with Google, you must follow Google's terms as well. You are responsible for activity under your session. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or abused the service.
Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without permission
- Interfere with or overload the service or other users
- Circumvent limits, retention, or access controls
- Use the service for unlawful purposes or to harm others
Third-party services
TurboSend relies on hosting, storage, authentication, and analytics providers. Their services are subject to their own terms and policies. Page views may be counted with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies.
Disclaimer of warranties
TurboSend is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TurboSend and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of zero or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (typically zero for free use).
Changes
We may update these terms or the service from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding TurboSend. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship.
